Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Yummmmmm! Benny's is so good! I enjoyed a truly delicious taco salad for lunch. Green and red chile, sour cream, guac, beans, ground beef? Yes please! I've also had their chimis and burritos in the past and have always been really impressed. Deliciously sinful!

I've been eating at Bennys for over 10 years. They have the best breakfast burritos and the Benny burger is world class.

Yes, the Benny burger is tasty. Last one, had very little green chili and cheese. Asked for medium rare. It was well done. This over cooked burger was dry. The staff though friendly, do not seem to communicate with the kitchen staff. Slapping up a ticket, does not get order right. Thanks for reading. The Bike Chaplain

First time eating here and it was amazing . I had a hamburger with an order of small fries. Fries were probably the best I've ever had and the hamburger though its look wasn't impressive , it made up for it in taste . Prices were great and you definitely gotta go to this place . It's perfect place for a casual delicious meal !

5 people ate 5 dishes and we were all pleased. I had the adovado. The red sauce was classic and spicey enough to make my nose run but didn't ruin the meal. Service was friendly and fast. Next time I'm in town, I'm coming back.

we will no longer be ordering from this place, they never give us enough of anything , and their 4lb of chips.... its actually a brown paper bag with about 12 oz of chips, we called and they said "our chips are too expensive to sell them by weight" i told myself please, if you think your greasy chips are worth lying to people then thats you. but yeah, this place has gone down hill in customer service, family ran but they are all rude and get an attitude when you correct a mistake of theirs..

Ate here one time, haven't been back. The burgers took awhile, wasn't busy at the time, and tasted fine. The place wasn't very clean though, lots of flies inside (this was about 4 years ago), and was just nothing special. The burgers were your average fry cook grease ball burgers you can get about anywhere. Not missing much if you miss it.

The King Benny Burger is the only thing I ever order. I'm not sure why you would get anything else, it is worth the price. Great Green Chile.

I got the King Benny Burger and it was super delicious. It was just the right spiciness for me but just a tad to spicy for my wife. The interior is not all that appealing but don't let that scare you away. The food is delicious and staff is friendly.

We have eaten here a few times since moving to this area a year ago. The salsa they serve with their chips is the best I have ever tasted. Tacos are very good. Burritos are amazing. All around a great little place to eat.

I have the luxury of living within walking distance of this fine little eatery. I would have to say their green chile cheeseburger (I believe it's called the "King") is my favorite in the entire state of NM (even beating out Manny's Buckhorn in San Antonio, and all of 'em in ABQ). Everyone raves about their green chile cheese fries - let me let you in on a little secret - try the red chile cheese fries, I think they're even better!

Divey place with Green Chili that is very tasty, and I am pouring smoke out my ears! Delicious. Try the biscuits and honey, then write home about it. Yep their that good. Tacos, good. Waitress was super cute and does a great job. Havent tried the burgers (probably never will, love the chili too much to waste gut space on a burger. Great out of the way place!

Used to be a good place to eat not anymore. Food mediocre. At 8 pm on a Friday night I was told"we will be closing soon."

Small place, but good food....

I can't vouch for the New Mexican food, but I was recommended the burgers (and there are 4-8 permutations on that item) and was not disappointed: the pickle slices on a broad patty hit the spot. The only challenge was not filling up on fries: not too greasy, not too brown. There was a loud deer-hunting convo nearby that distracted from the cattle-eating, and the waitress was sub-audible, but that won't keep me from going back.

Located adjacent to I-25 south of Albuquerque, this is a GREAT place to check out if you are passing through! The food is great! You only seem to find places like this in the Southwest part of the US. This is a take-out fast food style restaurant, offering great New Mexican style Mexican food. Excellent! They also offer traditional American fast food including excellent burgers and fries. I asked for a side of sour cream and nearly got a pint! And if that weren't good enough, the food is super inexpensive. Food for 3 came to $13 and we couldn't finish it!
